The Opportunity to Learn Campaign is connecting advocates in a national movement to ensure that all children, regardless of where they live, have access to a top-notch public school education based on four critical building blocks: high-quality early-childhood education, highly prepared and effective teachers, college-prep curriculum, and equitable instructional materials and policies.
The campaign seeks policy change at the local, state and federal levels to hold our nation’s elected officials and education leaders accountable for providing access to high-quality education in every public school across the country.
The OTL Campaign builds on the best of the education reform movement to argue for systemic resource accountability. We believe that a high-quality public school education is a fundamental civil right – a right that too many children, particularly those of color, are being denied in our current public school systems.
